Gabriel Marcelo Dominguez Nunes，better known as Marcelo Dominguez， is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a right back for Al-Hilal FC in the Saudi Professional League. He began his career at Cruzeiro in 2007， before moving to Botafogo in 2009. In 2013， he was transferred to Portuguese club Sporting CP， where he gained recognition for his performances in the 2014–15 season. In 2015， he was signed by German club Bayer Leverkusen for a reported fee of €7 million. After two seasons in Germany， Dominguez returned to his homeland to play for Flamengo in 2017. In 2019， he joined Al-Hilal FC.
Throughout his career， Dominguez has earned numerous accolades， including the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A Team of the Year in 2017 and the Saudi Professional League Player of the Month in April 2020. He has also represented Brazil at the under-17 and under-20 levels， and has been capped once for the senior team.
